It's easy to believe that the world is a hostile, dangerous place. Our Ego survives in a world built entirley on fear and competition. It believes that there is never enough of anything - not love, not money, not opportunities, not ANYTHING! - so we must compete as hard as we can against everyone else. It distrusts the world around it. It fears other people and feels like it is a victim of God and the Universe.

This card is an invitation to move from the world of Ego to the world of Spirit. Where Ego lives in a world of fear, Spirit lives in a world of love and compassion. Where Ego feels separated from the world and everyone in it, Spirit knows that we are all connected to one another and that there is a whole vast Universe out there that we are connected to, too! Change is never easy. Even good changes like a wedding, graduation, new job, or move to a new home are guaranteed to produce a significant amount of stress. And this month has been all about letting go of the old so that we can move forward into the new - a process that has been very stressful, frightening, and even painful for many of us.

Today's guidance asks us to embrace these changes and believe that even though things may be uncomfortable and feel uncertain right now, these changes are for the best! Sometimes we must break away from the same and familiar because this place no longer serves who we are or who we want to become.

The angels say, "Dear One, please have faith that we are with you, guiding you, guarding you, protecting you, and working in every way to ensure that this change is for the best. Try to stay optimistic about the present AND the future! We know that this change may be hard on you right now, but we promise that everything is going to turn out beautifully in the end. Please give any fears to us to take care of."

The angels also ask you this week to be honest about your feelings. Seek out trusted friends, family, co-workers or qualified professionals to talk to if you need to. Don't pretend that everything is okay with you if it's not. Find someone safe you can confide in as this will help ease the negative emotions you may be experiencing right now. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help!

This whole month so far has been one of dealing with conflict and drama, and that theme returns today as we are being asked to seek clarity by releasing our emotions and personal attachment to the current situation.

The angels say, "Take the day off! Let your conflict and hurt feelings go for now! Seek out quiet places where you can find peace for a while. When you take a step back from the current situation, you will gain valuable clarity and perspective."

The Ego loves to dredge up past hurts and relive them over and over again, keeping conflict and drama going for as long as possible. Today, Spirit asks us to let go of this self-destructive behavior so that we can begin to heal and move on with our lives.

Today we are being given the strong message that now is the time to CREATE! If you have been dreaming about writing a book, teaching a class, painting, drawing, dancing, or any other form of creative expression, it is high time you made a space in your life to explore your dreams and passions.

The angels remind me that when we indulge in our creative ideas and impulses, we are giving voice to our Divine Spirit. They say, "It is of vital importance that you allow yourself to express your creativity in ways that you enjoy. This gives voice to your Spirit and allows it to grow and explore. It connects you more closely to the Creator and the Universe and opens you up to Divine guidance and inspiration."

Allowing the space and time in your life to create may involve making some changes to your schedule and habits, and may even require that you relocate to a place where you can seek out further training or even become employed as an artist. The angels want you to know that whatever situation you are in, and whatever stage of the creative process you find yourself at, that they are with you supporting you, guiding you, inspiring you and cheering you on!

Today we are reminded that we already have all the luck that we need in this life! All we have to do to access that luck is to believe that it is there! The angels say, "It is important to affirm every day that you have all of the luck, abundances, support, opportunities, and everything else you could ever possibly need available to you!"

They advise me that if you have not already started a Blessings Book or Gratitude Journal that keeping one would be an excellent habit to start as spending time each day focusing on the blessings and good things in your life shifts your energy from negative to positive, allowing you to access Heavenly support and opens the full flow of abundance in your life.

They remind me that it is especially important to pay attention to the words we choose to speak, write and think as these words have great power in the world. Choose to use your words for kindness, compassion, love, and prayer rather than for expressing negativity through gossiping, complaining or worrying.

Know that you are always surrounded by your own Heavenly host of guides, angels, ascended masters and other helpers in the Spirit realm. You are looked after, supported, guided and loved every moment of every day!

Today our angels are asking us to really take a look at our goals and dreams. They ask us not to give in to Ego-created fears of not being good enough or of our dreams being too far away or too difficult for us to reach. They ask us not to compare ourselves to others or to feel that our dreams are impossible.

The angels affirm that you are in the right place doing the right things at exactly the right time right now and promise great rewards in the near future. They say, "Your hard work is paying off right now, and we are hard at work making sure that everything comes together perfectly! Keep up the good work!!"

Today's guidance is all about expressing yourself! Have you been dreaming about writing a book or teaching a class? Now is the time to get to work on that project! Today is also a time to reach out to others to talk  about your feelings. This may mean finding a supportive friend or loved one you can share your innermost thoughts with without fear of shame, guilt, or judgment. It may also mean having a difficult conversation you have been avoiding.

The angels say, "There is nothing to fear, Dear One. Everything is working out for the best right now. Do not be afraid to take a leap of faith or to speak your mind. Know that we are with you, surrounding you, supporting you, protecting you, guiding you, and most of all, loving you!"

Have you been allowing someone to run roughshod over you at home or at work? Do you have a friend who only shows up when they need something from you? Do you feel angry, bitter, or taken-advantage-of? The angels say that it is high time that you begin the practice of setting healthy boundaries. They say, "Being kind, compassionate and loving does not mean that you are a doormat and that you can never say 'no' to others."

They remind me that setting healthy boundaries is not selfish or mean - it is a profound act of self-love and self-care. Allowing others to treat you poorly or take advantage of you is a form of abuse, and as a Divine child of the Creator, you do not deserve to be used or abused by anyone for any reason.

Maintaining good, healthy, loving boundaries will allow you to have positive, healthy, loving relationships with friends, family, and co-workers while allowing yourself to be used and treated poorly until you explode in anger only hurts everyone around you, confusing and upsetting everyone when you finally reach your limit.

Today is also a time to examine the way you are managing your life right now. Have you become overly rigid or controlling? Are you unable to take the time to just "be," allowing yourself to go with the flow of the day without making any plans or feeling like you need to be "doing something."

The angels remind me that constantly existing in "work" mode wears away at you. Never taking time to rest, relax, and replenish only leads to burnout. They ask you to set aside the responsible adult side of yourself for a day, an afternoon, or even an hour, and instead embrace your inner child. Take some time to laugh, walk barefoot in the grass, daydream, color, or just go with the flow of life without making any set plans. Have an adventure! And make sure you have some FUN!!
