Hello and welcome to my first weekly forecast for September! This month I'm going to be working with the "Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards" by Colette Baron-Reid.
This week looks to be a week of dealing with our Ego-created fears and insecurities, looking at how the way we choose to see the world affects what we are co-creating with the divine, and seeking the healing power of music and storytelling.

We begin this week with the Fear marker. This card is a warning that you may be letting your fears and insecurities get the better of you right now. Are you afraid of failing? Of looking like a fool? Of not being "good enough" or worthy of what you desire? This card is a message sent straight from our guardian angels and guides on the other side reminding us that fear is only an illusion created by the Ego to hold you back and prevent you from moving forward into the glorious, bright future ahead of you. If you are struggling with fear right now, call upon Archangel Michael to clear away any cords or lower energy that may be feeding your fear and to shield you with his mighty wings. See yourself surrounded in a thick cocoon of purple light (the color of Archangel Michael). One of the strongest cures for Ego-created fears and insecurities is to laughter. So, if you can, find ways to get more laughter into your life this week - especially if you can find a way to laugh at how silly those fears really are!
As we enter the middle of the week, we are joined by The Bard, whose values are Music, Poetry, Myth, History and The Enchantment of Storytelling. I am being given the clear impression that this guardian of Avalon has been sent this week to remind us of the profound healing power of music and storytelling. He tells me, "Never underestimate the power of telling your story. You were sent here to this world at this time and place to be a Lightworker, and part of that is sharing your unique views and experiences with the world - especially when those views are not the 'norm' that people expect." If you have been thinking about writing a book, starting a blog or teaching a class, now would be an excellent time to begin this project. The Bard also says that now is a time to embrace the healing power of music. He says, "Music reaches you on a soul-deep level. It gives voice to your innermost feelings and allows your heart to fly." So, sing, dance, find the music that speaks to your soul and turn the music up loud this week!
We end the week at the Perception marker, which is a message to all of us to mind the way we think about and see the world as this affects the energy we put out and the people and situations we attract into our lives using the Law of Attraction. The angels say to me, "Balance is the key. You don't want to see the world through rose-colored glasses, denying the truth of the world and allowing yourself to be taken advantage of, but neither do you want to allow your heart to become hard and jaded, always expecting the worst of the world around you." If you have been experiencing many negative events in your life, now is the time to examine the way you think about and interact with the world. The Law of Attraction states that what you spend your mental and emotional energy on is what you will attract into your life. If you have been spending your energy on worrying, complaining, being offended by the words or actions of others, or being fearful about world situations or events in your own life, you are sending out a strong message to the Universe to "Send me more of THAT!" It can be hard to switch from negative, pessimistic thinking to positive, uplifting thoughts, but it can be done! The angels say to call upon them, especially Archange Jophiel who is the angel of Beauty and ask that she purify and beautify your thoughts so that you may begin rebalancing your world.
