Daily Guidance for April 2nd, 2015

Have you been holding on to hurt, anger, resentment, or other negative emotions? Today we are being asked by our Angels to take a look at these negative emotions. The angels say, "It is important to honor your feelings, to allow yourself to grieve, to yell out your anger, to experience your feelings of fear or doubt. But do not hold on to those feelings forever! Allow yourself to really feel them, and then let them go!"

They advise us to pay close attention to our thought patterns right now and to realize when we are obsessing about past painful events, negative emotions, or present worries. They remind me that these obsessive thoughts only serve to call even more negative, painful, worrisome events into our lives. Instead, we are being asked to focus on love, joy, compassion, and forgiveness.

They say, "Take some time to do something kind for yourself. Focus on the sweetness and joy of life. Get outside and reconnect with nature. Even if it's just a few minutes in a public park, it's better than a whole day cooped up in front of a computer screen!"

~*~ Today's Angel Message ~*~

Prayer and positive intentions will help your needs materialize while worry only compounds the issues. Keep believing and give any worries to the angels.

Keep your thoughts positive about the future, as what you are thinking strongly influences the outcome right now. Have faith that Spirit is speaking to you through insights that guide you to improve something in your life or the life of others. Allow your positive affirmations to lead the way.

~*~ Today's Cards ~*~

~*~ Apache Tears ~*~

Are you grieving the loss of someone or something? Feel the grief and allow yourself to cry. Release the toxins from your body, mind, and emotional being. Comfort and peace are close at hand. Focus your attention on your desired outcome.

~*~ Angel of Comfort ~*~

I allow myself to feel my feelings and express them through my physical and mental actions. Tears flow easily as I am releasing pent up emotions. I am able to let go. I am comforted. I am at peace.

The Legend of the Apache Tear

One day a party of Apache Indians was ambushed by an enemy tribe. The Apaches fought bravely but were greatly outnumbered and driven to the top of a high bluff. Their arrows gone and unable to fight and unwilling to be taken captive, they leaped from the cliffs to their death. Their women were understandably grief-stricken and wept over the bodies. Their teardrops froze when they hit the ground to become the lovely stones we know today as Apache Tears. It is said that whoever owns one of these stones will never cry again, for the Apache women shed enough tears already. (Source)

Apache Tears are a type of Obsidian, which appear rough and opaque at first glance, but are often translucent when held up to a light source. Apache Tears are created when hot lava is forced directly into the air and quickly solidifies before hitting the ground. Made from the fire energy deep within the Earth, this mineral is wonderful at grounding energies into the Earth before, during and after energy work. Apache Tears help one to see into the core of an issue to assist with deep healing.

Apache Tears have an uncanny ability to lend support during times of sorrow. They will gently help one to accept and then release their grief, thereby releasing and removing blockages. Apache Tears can help to relieve stress by bringing opportunities for positive change into one's sights so they can formulate a plan of action.

Carry an Apache Tear in your pocket as protection from all types of negative energies, including psychic attacks. The Apache Tear will help to remove and transmute these energies, clearing the way for more positive vibrations.

(Apache Tears) help to ground spiritual experiences into the physical, helping one to integrate these experiences into the everyday life. This grounding energy can also help one to realize the importance of all frequencies, and to not limit oneself to only the higher energies of this existence. (Source)

~*~ Change the Scenery ~*~

Our Ego is an incredibly obsessive character. It quickly and easily develops tunnel vision, focusing only on one thing in our life - everything that is going wrong!

This card comes to you as a message from Spirit asking you to change your focus. If you have been spending your time focusing on negative events and emotions, worrying about the future or some situation you are facing right now or gossiping about other people, it is high time to STOP!

Make a point today to focus on something else! Every time you find your mind wandering back to that same old place, make a point of thinking about something else. Better yet, when your mind wanders back to those same old Ego-driven places, get up and go do something! It's harder for your mind to focus on the negative when you go for a drive, listen to music, or get out and connect with nature!

Make a point of changing your scenery today. Shake up your routine and let go of those old, negative habits!

~*~ Sweetness ~*~

Today's card comes to us as a message from your Guardian Angels asking you to focus on the sweetness and joy in your life. This card features a beautiful angel cradling a baby deer in her lap. Deer is the totem of gentleness and unconditional love. With this card, you are being asked to embrace unconditional love not just for others, but for yourself! Take a moment today to forgive yourself for any errors or perceived shortcomings you are struggling with right now. Know that you are a Divine child of the creator and are deserving of unconditional love and forgiveness. Learn from your mistakes, and then let them go!
